The Kornberg School of Dentistry is seeking outstanding national and international applicants who can lead the Department of Restorative Sciences toward the vision of dental practice and education in 2030. Applicants should have a strong academic orientation, innovative educational philosophies, experience in Artificial Intelligence applications, digital dentistry, and leadership in academic transformation who can lead the Department of Restorative Sciences towards a futuristic vision for dental practice and education in general dentistry and prosthodontics.
Candidates should have a record of risk taking and overseeing successful programs. Faculty candidates who are motivated to continue learning, expand their academic careers, and contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking academic culture will find exceptional opportunities at Temple University.
Primary responsibilities of the Chairperson will be contemporary didactic and clinical teaching for both the pre- and post-doctoral programs, including course directorship and curriculum development along with leadership and team building.

Candidates with US or Canadian DMD/DDS, are preferred but those with equivalent international credentials can apply. Applicants must have CODA accredited specialty education or equivalent international credentials and have or be eligible for a Pennsylvania dental license.
