Assistant / Associate / Full Professor

Qualifications & Experience:

• PhD or equivalent degree (e.g. DrPH, ScD), preferably in one of the following focus areas: (a) Environmental health (focus on climate change, and water quality); (b) Epidemiology (focus on lifestyle and/or environmental factors); a medical or paramedical background is highly desirable; MD is a plus but not a substitute for PhD. (c) Applied Biostatistics; (d) Data Science/Artificial Intelligence with health and/or environment-related interests; (e) Health Economics.
• Minimum one year of experience, publications, including first-author publications in reputed journals, and some pertinent teaching experience.
• Proven track record of procuring external funds will be preferred, especially at Associate and Full Professor levels.
• Ability to promote interdisciplinary research and contribute to translating research into action would be a plus.

Associate Dean: The role of the Associate Dean will be to work with the Dean to provide visionary leadership in planning, developing, and overseeing academic and research programmes, and other initiatives and key activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• PhD or equivalent degree in a key public health discipline.
• A medical background will be a plus.
• Associate or Full Professor at a reputed public health institution.
• A distinguished record of scholarship, demonstrated excellence in higher education, research, or public health practice and administration in a leadership capacity.
• A successful track record of securing external funding from ICMR/other Indian or international entities.
