The Nursing Manager is responsible for overall administration of nursing care, treatment, and services for the Psychiatric Hospital. This includes oversight of nursing staff, development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

• Education: Master’s degree in nursing, or bachelor’s degree with extensive education and experience in psychiatric care. 
• Experience: Prefer two (2) years in a psychiatric inpatient setting and management experience in a hospital setting preferred. 
• Certificate or Professional License:  
• Active Indiana nursing license in good standing. Psychiatric nursing certification preferred.  
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) - certification must be obtained after hire and prior to providing direct patient care. This certification must be maintained and kept current through employment. 
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid - certification must be obtained after hire and prior to providing direct patient care. This certification must be maintained and kept current through employment. 
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance coverage.  
• Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks 
• Must be a minimum25 years of age.
