We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Invasive Cardiology to join a high-performing Cardiac Catheterization Lab team in Cleveland, OH. This role involves providing critical care support for patients undergoing interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab
Assist with interventional cardiology and endovascular procedures
Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, including sedation management
Operate and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring systems (IABP, Impella)
Participate in STEMI call rotation with a required 30-minute response time
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Compensation Details
Weekly Gross Pay: $3,314.24
Weekly Taxable Income: $1,641.24
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,673.00
Hourly Taxable Rate (Up to 40 hrs): $45.59
Overtime Rate (After 40 hrs): $68.39
Required Qualifications
Minimum experience in Cardiac Cath Lab (Invasive Cardiology)
Strong background in:
Preoperative and postoperative care
Patient monitoring and sedation
Advanced hemodynamic monitoring (IABP, Impella)
Ventilator management
Licensure & Certifications
Active RN license – State of Ohio
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required)
Technology & Systems
Experience with:
EPIC
XPER
Change Healthcare
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
Capability to lift up to 250–300 lbs (with assistance) and push/pull up to 500 lbs (with assistance)
Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and cleaning chemicals may occur
