This position involves remotely overseeing MRI and CT scans, ensuring high-quality imaging, assisting on-site technologists, and providing expert interpretation of scan protocols.
We require someone with a strong understanding of MRI and CT technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and oversee MRI and CT scans remotely to ensure image quality and patient safety. • Provide real-time technical guidance to onsite MRI technologists. • Verify imaging protocols and adjust as necessary for optimal results. • Ensure accurate scan positioning and image acquisition. • Troubleshoot equipment and procedural issues with on-site teams. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other medical imaging regulations. • Document and report scan findings or concerns as needed. • Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated with MRI and CT advancements.
MUST be dual certified as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT preferred) and CT (ARRT- CT) Technologist.
Minimum of 2 years of MRI and CT scanning experience.
Strong knowledge of MRI physics, MRI/CT protocols, and safety procedures.
Experience with remote imaging technology and PACS systems is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams.
