We are seeking an experienced individual with a passion for preventing harm and promoting the delivery of safe, high-quality care in senior care and services through management and administration of an incident reporting software. The ideal candidate will have system administration experience with risk management strategies and practices within the healthcare and/or senior care and housing industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the risk management program, strategy and services for the Peace Church Risk Retention Group, a member owned and governed risk retention group, domiciled in Vermont, registered in 21 states and providing general and professional liability insurance and risk management services to Peace Church and other values aligned non-profit senior care and housing organizations.
Serves as System Administrator for a highly customized risk management incident reporting software with root cause analysis application used in senior living organizations
Serve as support lead for risk management incident reporting software assisting members with user roles, scope, reports, alerts, scheduling, troubleshooting, and workflow processes
Offer engaging and beneficial training on all aspects of the software program to beginner, intermediate, and advanced users
Leverage advanced Excel functions and other available data from incident and loss trends to uncover trends, identify opportunities, education programming, and support strategic decision-making
Maintain technical expertise and stay up to date on risk control issues, regulations and trends within the aging services industry
Support the risk management team with the risk management program and software applications
Understand and follow member insured and company confidentiality and HIPAA policies
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficient in working with the following computer applications: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and Teams.
Experience managing or serving as system administrator for incident reporting application - RLDatix, Midas, or comparable program
Excellent communication, interpersonal and consensus building skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
2+ years of experience in risk control, healthcare delivery, risk management, patient safety and related insurance systems
2+ years of experience as system administrator for incident reporting software or comparable program
