The Opportunity
We are seeking a Medical Director to lead and grow a comprehensive palliative care program. This is a rare chance to build with autonomy and organizational support.
As Medical Director you will:
- Lead and evolve inpatient hospice care at Willow Breeze Hospice House and outpatient hospice program
- Advance our hospital-based hospice consult service
- Establish and grow a palliative care consult service
- Develop an outpatient clinic for ongoing patient care
- Shape program strategy, quality and interdisciplinary care models
The Environment
Willow Breeze Hospice House offers eight private suites with walk out patios, along with dedicated family spaced including quiet rooms, kitchen, library and workspace, chapel and activity room, all on a peaceful, landscaped campus with walking paths, benches and a pond. Care is delivered by an experienced interdisciplinary team including nursing, hospice aides, social work, bereavement and spiritual care.
