Job Overview
Colaborate is seeking a driven, versatile Growth & Partnerships Associate to join our team and build the company’s first dedicated sales and growth function. This is a high-impact, hands-on role designed for someone who thrives in a small-team environment and is ready to own outcomes from Day 1.
The primary focus of this role is new revenue development - building pipeline, managing strategic partnerships, and executing outbound outreach to laboratories and health systems. But like every member of the Colaborate team, this person will also be a Swiss Army knife: willing to learn, lead, and execute across the business wherever needed.
This role reports directly to the Director and works alongside senior leadership daily. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience in healthcare, consulting, or sales, brings genuine intellectual curiosity about the laboratory space, and is excited by the opportunity to build something - not just execute within an existing playbook.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships & Henry Schein Management
Own the day-to-day relationship with channel partners, serving as the primary point of contact for coordination, growth opportunities, and pipeline development.
Build and maintain relationships with individual Henry Schein sales representatives to drive awareness, referrals, and adoption.
Track all partnership activity, opportunities, and pipeline progression within HubSpot CRM.
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within partner-driven accounts.
Provide regular performance reporting to leadership on partnership metrics and pipeline health.
Revenue Development & Outbound Sales
Build and execute targeted outbound outreach campaigns to independent labs, reference labs, and health systems nationally.
Research and develop target account lists segmented by size, geography, and service needs.
Qualify inbound leads, gather initial information, and schedule meetings with leadership for qualified opportunities.
Lead initial discovery calls and early-stage sales conversations with laboratory prospects.
Build account dossiers and entry-point research for health system targets, setting the table for CEO-level engagement.
Support sales and demo efforts for Colaborate's software products in coordination with senior leadership.
Over time, take increasing ownership of the full sales cycle for lab-focused engagements.
Sales Infrastructure & Operations
Set up and maintain HubSpot CRM: pipeline stages, deal tracking, email sequences, reporting dashboards, and activity metrics.
Create and maintain sales collateral: email templates, one-pagers, case study summaries, pitch frameworks, and proposal templates.
Develop a repeatable outreach playbook that can be leveraged by the full team.
Manage data processing, verification, and research tasks that support sales and client engagements.
Ensure proposals and contracts are properly organized, version-controlled, and archived.
On-Site Client Support & Production
Support on-site client engagements, laboratory assessments, and operational projects as needed.
Contribute to production team efforts during peak periods or active engagements.
Assist with proposal development, deal structuring, and coordination for consulting engagements.
Support ad hoc strategic initiatives as directed by leadership.
Why This Role
Ownership from Day 1. You’re not filling a seat - you’re building the entire growth function. Your fingerprints will be on everything.
Direct access to leadership. You’re working alongside the CEO and senior leadership daily. The learning curve is vertical.
A real growth path. As Colaborate grows, so does your role - from Associate to Manager to Director of Growth. This is a career-defining opportunity, not a lateral move.
Mission that matters. Behind every lab sample is a patient. Colaborate’s work directly improves laboratory quality, which directly impacts patient care.
Tampa lifestyle. No state income tax, lower cost of living than major metros, and a growing healthcare market.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in healthcare, consulting, health system operations, medical device/health tech sales, strategy, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with executive-level conversations.
Highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Ownership mentality - takes initiative, follows through, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
Intellectually curious - eager to learn the laboratory space deeply and asks good questions.
Resilient and adaptable - comfortable with rejection, ambiguity, and shifting between strategic and operational work.
Comfortable with technology: CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), data analysis, research platforms, and content creation.
Willingness to travel for on-site client work and to be hands-on with operational tasks when needed.
