Under close supervision, assists detox counseling staff with various tasks related to patient care coordination in the detox facility. Tasks may include assisting with forms completion and data entry, obtaining and recording breath alcohol levels, retrieving patient property at discharge, obtaining clothing or other supplies for patients, escorting patients through the facility, may monitor patients at meals, visitation, recreational activities or other times as needed and as appropriate.
Essential Functions:

Assists with obtaining and recording breath alcohol levels, obtaining forms, forms completion, faxing and data entry, retrieving patient property at discharge, obtaining clothing or other supplies for patients, escorting patients through the facility, may monitor patients during mealtimes, visitation, recreational activities, or at other times as needed and as appropriate. (20%)
Helps maintain a safe environment for patients and staff by responding to staff support situations using crisis prevention intervention and verbal de-escalation techniques. (15%)
