UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center and the Jan Bishop Cancer Care Team in Steamboat Springs are ready to welcome a board eligible/certified Hematology and Oncology Physician to their team. This role is ideal for a physician who values autonomy within a supportive system, and has a strong interest in practicing medicine in a Colorado mountain town. About the Opportunity
  • Join a thriving, well-established practice supported by two APPs and a comprehensive supportive oncology services, including a nurse navigator, social worker, dietician, and integrative medicine.
  • Comprehensive outpatient practice with limited inpatient consults at our 39-bed Level III trauma center
  • Enjoy a flexible work week with limited call responsibilities.
  • Monthly outreach to surrounding communities.
  • EPIC EMR utilized system-wide.

Exceptional Benefits
This position offers a competitive compensation package:
  • The pay range for this full-time position is $489,000-$543,000 annually. If applicable, a quality and/or productivity bonus may be offered.
  • Relocation package may be offered to eligible candidates.
  • Paid malpractice.
  • Generous continuing medical education (CME) allowance.
  • 403(b) with employer matching contribution; 457(b) voluntary option if eligible.
